not everything needs to be on "the list" before it gets checked off... some things get added and checked off at the same time! it might not seem that exciting, really, but it's still new, which is something that I am continually going to celebrate this year. today... I tried eggs benedict. and I am in love. no surprise really, it contains several of my favorite ingredients.

I also had the chance to experience this delicious meal on an outdoor patio on an unseasonably warm day with one of my best friends. I will always treasure these moments that I have to delight in genuine conversations of the heart with my dearest friends. to be encouraged, challenged, enlightened, and inspired by someone in just a matter of a few hours is a glorious thing. this part of my day was not new, but it is cherished all the same, if not more...
