Planning a beach trip? I’m sharing my Top 7 must-have items that will make your beach experience unforgettable.
Going to the beach is always a highlight of the summer for our family! This year we took a few new products with us that have easily become some of my TOP must-have items that I will not leave behind when we go to the beach. If you are planning a beach trip, make sure you have these fabulous items packed to ensure a memorable and enjoyable beach trip. From beach carts to luxurious beach blankets, these must-haves will easily enhance your next beach trip!
My Top 7 Beach Trip Must-Haves
Parker Baby Co. Belt Bag
I’ve been wearing this belt bag everywhere! I especially loved wearing the Parker Baby Co. Belt Bag to get myself and my essentials (keys, money, chapstick, baby pacifier) from the car to the beach after staying in the car when the baby was napping. This belt bag is really large and roomy, which is perfect for holding a diaper or two, some wipes, my phone, a wallet, and my keys!
Beach Puddle
We absolutely love the beach puddle! It was so easy to fill up with the included bucket (also the carrying bag!) and also dried really fast before packing it up. We used our shovel to dig a shallow hole in the sand, laid out the beach puddle, and then used the carrying bag as a bucket to fill it up. We were intentional to set it out in the sun so the water could warm up for the kids, then added an umbrella if we needed it.
Giant Beach Blanket
This blanket is easily one of my favorite things that we take to the beach! I love the soft fabric and how it repels water, plus it has stakes to keep it in the sand and not blow away. I also love how HUGE this thing is! It easily fits all four of us (2 adults, 2 kids).
Beach Cart
We got this beach cart this year on sale as an early Father’s Day gift for my husband, because let’s be real, he’s the one that’s always carrying all of our stuff to the beach, and I wanted to make his beach life way easier! We absolutely love this cart - it works way better than the foldable utility wagon that we used previously.
Bag for Sand Toys
After last year’s trip to the beach, I felt like we had toys falling everywhere - snagged this mesh backpack to use this year and it was so great! It is really large and held all of our beach toys - even the large construction vehicles that we took along!
Water Wipes
These water wipes are essential for me at the beach - especially with little kids! They make it so easy to “wash” little hands and get sand wiped away, without leaving any kind of residue behind like regular wipes.
ThinkBaby Sunscreen
I’ve been on a journey to find some of the best (and most effective) sunscreens for my kids that are safe for them to use and so far the ThinkBaby sunscreen has been my favorite! It ranks high on the EWG scale and it was really easy to apply to both of my kids without leaving any kind of oily or sticky feeling behind.
I know there are clearly more beach trip essentials that I don’t have listed above - beach chairs for mom & dad, beach chairs for the kids, a great cooler bag, my mesh beach bag, and a giant umbrella - but the items that I highlighted in this post were my top must-haves for our trip this summer! I’m certain that if you decide to try any of them, they will become a favorite for you too!
