The Best Maternity Outfits for Christmas

I love this holiday season! Every year, one of my best friends hosts a group for a fancy fondue dinner and it is always one of the highlights of my year. I love having a reason to get a bit more dressed up than normal and enjoy tons of melted cheese and chocolate. This year, I happen to be pregnant and was lucky enough to have a dress from a previous pregnancy that was dark olive green and looked great for a festive Christmas party - but it did get me thinking about what I want to wear to our Christmas Eve service this year, a Christmas dinner party with my husband’s work, another Christmas dinner party with my husband’s youth group leaders and volunteers, and what if I decide to go to the youth group ugly sweater Christmas party?!
Dressing for the holidays and special events can be a bit difficult when you are pregnant and looking for cute maternity holiday outfits. So I’ve rounded up some of my favorite holiday finds for maternity dresses, maternity sweaters and cardigans, maternity pants, and even some fun Christmas jewelry accessories. Oh, and let’s not forget the fun graphic sweatshirts and ugly Christmas sweaters for maternity!
Maternity Christmas Dresses
It seems like there is a very slim selection for beautiful holiday dresses when you are pregnant in the wintertime! I was having a hard time coming across cute maternity Christmas dresses but did manage to round up a few that I think would be SO cute for a Christmas Eve service or fancy holiday party.

Maternity Christmas Sweaters and Tops
Is there anything cozier than a sweater at Christmas time? If you’re looking for a cute maternity holiday outfit and don’t need to be super fancy, I would recommend some of these fabulous maternity sweaters, tops, or cardigans! I’ve been wearing a simple white turtleneck with a cute kimono or cardigan for several holiday parties already this year but just bought a nice chunky red sweater to wear for our casual Christmas Eve service at church and family Christmas gatherings.

Maternity Pants for your Holiday Outfit
Sometimes a cute new pair of maternity pants can really elevate your holiday outfit look! It’s not easy to find red or green or white pants in maternity styles, but I rounded up the ones that I was able to find! It’s way easier to pick out a black pair of maternity leggings or jeans for your maternity Christmas outfit or a stylish pair of maternity jeans.

Christmas Jewelry Finds
I think that cute Christmas jewelry can really make your holiday outfit come together! I just ordered a pair of handpainted Christmas hoops from Etsy to go with my chunky red sweater for my Christmas outfit and can’t wait to see how they look in person. Choose from some simple holiday jewelry or pick something over-the-top and really fun for your holiday party!

Ugly Christmas Sweaters for Pregnancy
It’s really not easy to find ugly Christmas sweaters when you are pregnant. They aren’t really created or designed with maternity in mind, so my best recommendation if you have a need to find an ugly Christmas sweater for a party is to look for something in a larger size that will fit over your belly or find a cardigan or vest to wear over a maternity shirt that you already have. I still found some fun graphic sweatshirts, shirts, and other fun Christmas sweaters in maternity styles.
