Favorite Finds from January 2024

It’s been a while since I’ve shared some of my favorite finds, but the start of a new year felt like a good time to jump back in! It feels like January was a never-ending month with the end of the holiday season, the super cold weather, several snow days, and a couple of rounds of sickness in our house. We also had our SUV parked out front of our house and it got hit by a police car (crazy story!), which resulted in it being a write-off from insurance and needing to do some car shopping. But it was also my birthday month and feels like we ended the month with a lot of really fun memories as a family.

Amazon Finds from January 2024
Silk Sleep Mask
I got this silk sleep mask in my stocking for Christmas and every since then I have slept much deeper every night! It’s so soft and easy to wear when I’m asleep - feels like a little bit of luxury every night.
Rechargeable Hand Warmers
I got these for Eric to take with him on his student retreat during our cold snap this month and they are so great! They heat up SO fast, have three different heat settings, and come in several different colors. They are also magnetic so they stick together and even have a small carrying bag.
Sippy Cup Mug
I got these adorable sippy cup mugs from Helmsie Goods for my kids over the winter to enjoy their hot cocoa and we love them so much! They both have some cute Christmas tree mugs and then we got an extra one as an early birthday gift for Ainsley (she loves drinking her cocoa just like mama!).
Mini Yoto Player
Every time that I think I know everything there is to know about this amazing little device, something else ends up surprising me! We got Ollie this screen-free player for Christmas and he LOVES it! Not even an exaggeration - he can use the cards that he has to listen to audiobooks, podcasts, and songs - it has a toothbrush timer, sleep radio, kids’ radio, white noise… the list goes on! I can’t wait to get one for Ainsley - I think we might get the large Yoto player for Ainsley to enjoy. Right now the Mini Player (which is what we got for Ollie & is great to take on-the-go) is out of stock, but they have stated they will be in stock again in 2024 - so sign up to be notified right away!
Two-Toned Cube Bins
If you need some cube storage bins, these two-toned options are stunning and so sturdy! Love the leather handle detailing. I purchased the beige and white to use in my bedroom for my cube storage makeshift “dresser” and really love them - comes in a set of 4 and lots of color options.
Reusable Shopping Bags
The township that we live in recently passed a plastic bag ban, so we either have to pay for paper bags at our local grocery store or bring our own bags now when we shop in-store. Which, I’m all for! This is obviously nothing new, but it’s something that affects us more now, and while we have a huge closet full of reusable grocery bags, I don’t always remember to put them back into the car! So I got this large set to keep in the car - the individual bags roll up really small and have an elastic loop to wrap around it - and then they all fit into their own zippered pouch! Makes it super easy to throw a bag or two into my purse or pocket and keep the whole set in my car. Comes in TONS of color options.
Potty Training Toilet Stickers
Our son is fully potty trained now at 4 years old (really since 3.5 years old) but we still have some new “skills” to work on in the bathroom - and this mama is tired of cleaning up his “misses” everywhere around the bathroom! 😂 I got this set of stickers so that we could use one or two in the toilet and it gives him something to look at and aim for during his time in the bathroom.
Light Filtering Boho Curtains
This might be super specific, but after living in this house for several years, I finally decided to get some curtains for our large front window between our built-in bookshelves. I wish I would have done this years ago! These light-filtering curtains are so soft and hard to capture in a photo, but they look stunning in our living room. The green adds some more color to our main living space and softens up the space. These boho-chic curtains come in several different color options and are of great quality at an affordable price.
Soup & Sandwich Set
This soup and sandwich set is not new to me, but we used it a lot this month - especially during those really cold weeks! I love soup nights and this plate and bowl set has been perfect for a big bowl of soup and the plate is the best for your accompanying sandwich, chips, crackers… you name it!
Sage Green Microwave
I feel like I have hit peak adulthood this year - can you believe that I got SO excited about a microwave?! 🤣 I bought this as a birthday gift for myself this month and it’s just a little bit bigger than our last microwave and looks so pretty in our kitchen! The Beautiful line by Drew Barrymore at Walmart is slowly taking over my entire kitchen and I’m not mad about it. (So far I have the toaster, coffee maker, pots & pans, and now the microwave!)
Motherhood Sweatshirt
This was another gift this year from Christmas - I had it on my list and am so glad that I could add this to my wardrobe! I feel this sweatshirt really sums up my role in motherhood during this season of life with littles!
Reusable Pouches
Our kids have been on several rounds of antibiotics at different times over this winter season and I was trying my best to find good yogurt for them that had a lot of probiotics in it - and anything geared towards kids in the pouches didn’t really have what I was looking for as far as healthy probiotics - so I decided to get these reusable pouches that I can use for whatever yogurt we get and know that it’s still easy for my kids to use! This Simple Modern brand has several other designs to choose from as well.
