Whether your mom is sentimental or practical, there's something on this list that's sure to make her feel loved and appreciated.
My Favorite Gift Ideas for Mother's Day
Mother's Day is a special occasion to show your mom how much you appreciate her. From sentimental to practical, there are so many great gift options to choose from. Here are some of my current favorite picks, plus some special discount codes!
Mama Necklace
My husband got me a MAMA necklace for my first Mother’s Day and it’s one of my favorite pieces to wear! Love the simplicity and minimalist design.
Bloom Towels
I love these giant towels for my kitchen and everyone that I have shared them with loves them too! These towels are such a great statement piece and would be so fun paired with something else for the kitchen that your mom loves - a cookbook, some favorite snacks or treats, or a nice bottle of wine.
Promptly Journals
I have several of these Prompted Journals and really love how they provide intentional ways for me to record memories for my husband and I’s relationship, and my kids’ childhood memories. They have SO many types of journals that would make a great gift for any mom - or you can grab a gift card and let her pick out whatever she would like the most!

Mama Sweatshirt or Shirt

Custom Gifts from Minted
Minted is so much more than just beautiful holiday cards! They have some absolutely stunning and gorgeous custom and personalized gifts for moms. Make sure to scroll through my top picks! Some of the top gift picks for moms are custom artwork and framed photographs, personalized tote bags, custom stationery, journals, personalized aprons, calendars, puzzles, and lots more!
My husband gets me a custom calendar every year and we also created custom journals for the kids to write their “Mother’s Day” notes to me every year (instead of cards that will be thrown away!)
Light & Airy Photo Presets
These presets are SO easy to use and it’s how I get all of my photos to look so stunning and cohesive! Gift your mom one of these incredible photo presets that she can use to make her own photos stunning for years to come.
Mama Bracelet Style Pack from Pura Vida
Immediately adding this stack of bracelets to my wishlist! I love the subtle boho look and think they still manage to be a bit elegant.

Bible Studies & Accessories
A new Bible Study is a great way to encourage your mom! These Bible Studies from Daily Grace Co. are some of my favorite - they have depth that is challenging, but also aren’t too long or overwhelming to go through. (And they are beautiful!) You could also consider other Bible Study tools like journals, highlighters, a small bag for pens and highlighters, verse cards, or more.

Tushbaby Carrier
If you know a mom with a baby or toddler, trust me, she will LOVE this gift! This baby carrier has been one of my absolute favorite things that I got this year for my birthday and it gets used all of the time with our one-year-old. It has lots of pockets to store anything you might need to carry (wallet, keys, sunglasses, chapstick, diapers, wipes, water bottles, etc.) and has a sturdy platform for your kiddo to sit on instead of placing them on your hip - it saves your back, your hips, and your arms from that added stress!
Pura Smart Diffuser
This Pura smart diffuser is another favorite in our house! I love that I can set the levels to be higher or lower depending on the scent or time of day. It can also be programmed to turn on and off during the day and even has a timer feature so you can let it run for a specific amount of time and it will turn off by itself. There are also LOTS of incredible scents to choose from! I love that this stays plugged in and makes my house smell good without having to worry about flames or glass candles getting knocked over by my little kids.

Mama Can Glasses
I have several different “mama” can glasses from Heartland Lettering and love the quality of these glasses! I also love the can shape and size and find them so fun to drink from. There are TONS of different “mama” can glasses all over Etsy that would make super cute gifts for any mom!
Hatch Sound Machine
Give your mom the gift of really good sleep! I got one of these Restore sound machines for myself a few years ago - I had used a sound machine when our first son was born and stayed in our bedroom for the first few months, and once we moved him out of that space to his own bedroom, I found that I really missed that white noise while sleeping. I love this Hatch Restore sound machine - it’s beautiful, and has some incredible features for rest at the end of the day (soothing sounds, meditations, etc.), and my favorite feature - the “sunrise” alarm clock in the morning!
Enso Silicone Rings
I absolutely LOVE having some silicone rings as mom! They were a necessity when I was pregnant and my fingers would get swollen, and I loved wearing them during the newborn stage so that my engagement ring diamond didn’t scratch the baby. Silicone rings are also a great option for moms who love to work with their hands - nurses, DIY-lovers, gardeners, hikers, and more!
Perfume Sampler
I don’t usually wear any perfume or fragrance, but really want to have that special perfume that I wear for date nights - something fresh and clean that I will love for years. Dime Beauty Co. has clean and healthy fragrances that are hypoallergenic. I didn’t want to jump into buying a full bottle without knowing if I would like it, so I went with this sample set of perfume. This would make a lovely small gift for your mom to pick out a fragrance that she likes the most and then you could buy her a full bottle!
Stainless Steel Tumbler
I know that these Stanley tumblers are all the rage - I’ve been a Stanley girl for years and love how they keep my drinks hot or cold for hours! Splurge on your mom just a bit and get her one of these stunning stainless steel water tumblers.
Instacart Subscription
Make mom’s life a little bit easier with an Instacart subscription or gift card! Let her get those groceries delivered without ever having to leave the house - just make sure she also gets some peace & quiet while she does that grocery shopping and have someone else in the house put away the groceries or make dinner for her!
Get free delivery on your 1st 3 orders via Instacart. Min $10/order. Terms apply.
Flower Subscription
I’m a huge fan of flowers - they always brighten my day! When my husband takes the kids grocery shopping, he will often have them pick out flowers to bring home to me. If your mom loves flowers, give her a gift that keeps on giving with a flower subscription - she’ll get a new bouquet of flowers arriving at her door every month!
Unique Subscription Boxes
Another gift that keeps on giving - surprise mom with a subscription box for something that she loves! Self-care or bath goodies, gardening and plants, new books, or a date night box for spending intentional time with her spouse. I was gifted a 3-month subscription to this date night box this year for my birthday and I loved getting that surprise box in the mail each month! Here are a few subscription box highlights:

Mother's Day Gift Ideas that can't be wrapped
Sometimes the best gifts for Mother's Day aren't physical items that can be wrapped up in a box. Consider giving your mom the gift of quality time together, or offer to take care of some of her daily tasks to give her a much-needed break. Whatever you decide to give your mom for Mother’s Day, you can never go wrong with telling her how much she is loved!
Plan a day out with your mom: Take her out for a picnic, a hike, or a day trip to a nearby town or attraction.
Cook her favorite meal or bake her favorite dessert: Nothing beats a homemade meal or baked goods made with love.
Create a photo album or scrapbook: Compile all your favorite memories with your mom and decorate it with pictures, stickers, and mementos.
Offer to take care of a task or chore that she hates doing: Whether it's cleaning the gutters, mowing the lawn, or organizing the garage, taking on a task that your mom dislikes can be a thoughtful and appreciated gift.
Write a heartfelt letter or poem: Express your gratitude and love for your mom in writing, and let her know how much she means to you.
Give her the gift of relaxation: Book her a massage, spa day, or yoga class to help her unwind and destress. Better yet - send her away for a night at a hotel all by herself!
Spend quality time together: Take a class together, watch a movie, or play a board game - whatever activity you both enjoy doing together.
Make a charitable donation in her honor: Choose a cause that is important to your mom and make a donation in her name.
Create a playlist of her favorite songs: Gather her favorite tunes and put together a personalized playlist that she can enjoy whenever she wants.
Teach her something new: If your mom has always wanted to learn a new skill or hobby, take the time to teach her something new, like cooking, painting, or photography.
