The month of April showed up with unseasonably warm weather and loads of joy with the arrival of our new nephew/cousin and is now ending with really cold and rainy weather that makes me even more ready for summer!
I’m sharing my favorite finds for women, kids, and our home that we are loving this month!

Natives Waterproof Shoes
These shoes are a splurge that have been more than worth their price for my kids! I have a few hand-me-down pairs from our toddler, but they are still just a bit too large for baby girl. I know you can get cheaper “knock-off” brands, but I can’t find any in her size (she is currently a Toddler Size 4 and most water shoes at Target or Walmart start at a Size 5!) - so I decided to go for the all-pink version and I think they are just darling!
Pura Smart Diffuser
I can’t say enough good things about our Pura Smart Diffuser! I have been absolutely loving the variety of scents that I can add to my home and schedule it to turn on for a little in the morning and again in the evening as we are wrapping up the day. Right now I have a basil scent and lemon scent in my living room, and the Capri Blue up in the bathroom! The best part about this smart diffuser is that I don’t have to worry about flames or glass containers getting knocked over by the kids!

Mini Detangler Hairbrush
Now that baby girl’s hair has been getting longer, we’ve been having a lot of fun putting her hair in ponytails and piggy tails - and she has been having a lot of fun putting food in her hair at mealtimes. This mini “tangle teezer” hairbrush is perfect for detangling her really fine hair.
Rose Gold Nail Trimmer Set
It’s been a long time coming, but I finally got a nail trimmer and tweezer set to leave in the car for any on-the-go “emergencies.” This little set has already come in so handy and has been used a lot over this past month! Now I just have to remember to KEEP it in the car and not take it out for any reason. I might even need to grab a second set to keep in my toiletry bag for traveling.
Itzy Ritzy Diaper Bag & Packing Cubes
I shared a lot about our diaper bag this past month when Itzy Ritzy had its big spring sale! I love that this bag zips open the whole way around the front, has tons of pockets for organizing, and is a great size to fit everything we need! I’m also a huge fan of the packing bags for organizing our “backup clothes” in the diaper bag - easy to grab and repack. We also love their toy selection! So many great items!

Pencil Highlighter Case
I’ve shared about these pastel highlighters before, and really love them for Bible Study, but I didn’t find it easy to keep them stored in the plastic box that they came in - it always popped open or was just awkward for me. So I found this beautiful leather pencil case that holds both sets of my highlighters!
Plastic Portable Play Gate
We’ve had this portable play gate for years (ever since Ollie was little) and we’ve been getting a lot of use out of it again now that the weather is getting nicer and Ainsley is more mobile! I separated the play gate into two sets of 3 panels and will use it across the front of our porch to keep Ainsley from going down the steps. We also use a set of 3 on our sidewalk as a barrier to keep Ollie’s monster trucks from going to the sidewalk where people are walking or going into the street.
Tubby Todd All-Over Ointment
I’ve noticed that Ainsley has been struggling with some baby acne lately and this All-Over Ointment from Tubby Todd is our favorite thing to keep her cheeks clear! I bought this container when Oliver was little and we have really only used half of the tub so far - so you really get your money’s worth out of this stuff! It’s incredible!
Newborn Knotted Gowns
At the beginning of April, we got to welcome my little nephew to the world! I couldn’t resist getting some of my FAVORITE knotted gowns and swaddles for the little man - these gowns are my favorite thing to gift to friends when they are having a baby and the swaddles were the only ones that we could wrap tight enough to keep our babies from breaking free all of the time.
No-Spill Smoothie Tumbler Cup with Straw
The start of April entered with unseasonably warm weather and we were loving having smoothies on the front porch! These tumbler cups with straws are hands-down my favorite cups for smoothies for the kids! They are no-spill, a great size for the kids, and easy to clean - the straw comes apart easily for cleaning and the design keeps the kids from pulling the straw out of the cup. It’s a great mess-free experience for smoothies for the kids!
Reusable Sticker Books
We celebrated my husband’s grandfather’s life with a Memorial Service towards the end of this month and it was a long evening for the kids and asking them to keep quiet for the service when it was their bedtime. These reusable sticker books are some of my favorite activity books for the kids! The stickers are actually vinyl and can re-stick easily over and over again to create lots of fun scenes.
Bloom Towels
I got a few new kitchen towels for Spring and Summer and have been sharing a lot about these incredible towels this month - they would be a great gift for Mother’s Day or for a wedding or housewarming gift. They are a great gift on their own or could be paired with a nice bottle of wine or a cookbook or cheese board for charcuterie.
