August was a month full of family adventures and seasonal transitions. We kicked off with a memorable vacation in Williamsburg, VA, followed by a heartwarming family reunion in the Virginia mountains. To wrap up our summer of fun, we took the kids to Hersheypark for a day filled with excitement. My husband and I also managed to sneak away for a weekend trip to Baltimore, where we indulged in back-to-back baseball games. As summer faded, my excitement for the approaching fall led to some fantastic finds, from cozy apparel to practical travel accessories.

Favorite Finds from August 2024
Boho Floral Blanket
This lightweight cotton blanket feels similar to muslin and is quite breathable - it’s reversible & is so soft - I love it. And it’s huge. I think these colors are fun for summer and easily transition into fall. This listing also has several other colors & patterns that are super cute!
Nikita Sneakers
If you show me sneakers with Memory Foam, I’m 1000% more likely to buy them! These sneakers were a Target find that remind me of the Adidas Sambas, but for a fraction of the price! They are SO comfortable and I have been wearing them nearly every day since I got them.
Rose Gold Layered Necklaces
I ordered this new rose gold layered necklace and it came as three separate necklaces - great for mixing and matching. I prefer rose gold, but they have other colors and styles in the same listing.
Clear Crossbody Stadium Bag
After lots of visits to baseball games, I finally decided to get a clear stadium-approved crossbody bag. This one is large enough to hold a bottle of water + my wallet, and sunglasses, but it was also the perfect size for carrying the free soccer jersey giveaway for both my husband and me. It comes in 9 fun strap options and colors.
Snack Spinners
These snack spinners are new to us and were perfect for our longer road trip for family vacation this summer! You just fill it with some of your favorite small snacks and the kids can push the button in the middle to spin the snacks around until they land on their favorite snack - then just open the window & enjoy!
Stroller Hooks
These stroller hooks were a day-of purchase from Target on our way to Hersheypark and they were an absolute game changer! I’m not sure how it has taken me so long to get a stroller hook! Of course when we were at Hersheypark I saw them on every. other. stroller. that we passed 😂
Miss Mouth’s Shoe Cleaner
I’ve had this shoe cleaner for a while and am finally using it to clean some of my new shoes! It’s more like a gel than a spray. I would put a dab of the gel onto the shoe and wipe it down with a microfiber cloth. Smells like citrus.
Quarter Zip Cropped Sweatshirt
This sweatshirt is SO good. It’s thick, but not too heavy. It’s slightly cropped, which is perfect with leggings. It is super soft and feels like a cloud. Comes in over 20 colors & when I got it, it was on sale and had a coupon to clip that got the price under $20! I’m wearing a large - I suggest ordering your true size, unless you want really oversized (then go a size up).
Disposable Taco Trays
These disposable taco trays are SO convenient - I had gotten them for a few family events this past month, but I’m still using some of the leftovers at home when we have taco nights! I highly recommend keeping a stack on hand!
Pleated Skort
This skort was the real MVP of my outfit when we visited Hersheypark on the hottest day of the month! The biker shorts underneath had a pocket that was great to slipping my phone in and out all day - and it felt more flattering than my normal pair of biker shorts.
Bug Bite Thing
My poor boy got a bee sting while playing outside (his first one!) and I was so glad that I had this Bug Bite Thing on hand - it is designed so that you can use the handle as a scraper to remove the stinger and then you can suction out the bee venom to reduce the itching/stinging pain. Comes in several colors.
Bed Sheet Storage Box
I saw a video that someone found these bed sheet organizer storage boxes at Target in the dollar section for just $5 a piece and I went to Target that same day to buy up all of the ones that I could find! If you don’t want to worry about hunting for them at Target, I’m linking another great set of 3 that is a very similar price (but bonus - they have a clear window to see the sheets).
