September was all about embracing the cozy vibes of fall and staying organized as the new season began. I loved putting out my favorite fall door wreath, a perfect way to welcome the crisp autumn air. This month brought some exciting finds, like an adorable crochet-pocket sweatshirt for my daughter and the Skylight Calendar, which has been a game-changer for tracking our busy schedules—especially with my son's new preschool calendar and our family chore lists. I also found the perfect quarter-zip cropped sweatshirt for myself, along with practical items like plastic card cases for the kids' games. To top it all off, my husband and I ended the month with a music festival on the beach, where essentials like a one-pocket fanny pack, a waterproof blanket with a crossbody carry strap, a large refillable water bottle, and a portable phone charger made the experience even better. It was a fun and full month that went out with a bang!

Favorite Finds from September 2024
Skylight Calendar
I finally splurged and got this Skylight Calendar for our family - now that we have a preschooler, we have even more calendars and events to keep track of! I love being able to color-coordinate everyone’s calendars and events, create chore lists for everyone in the family and display beautiful images like artwork on the screensaver. Works with an app on my phone, so I can always keep track of everything on-the-go!
Plastic Cases for Card Decks
I got tired of my kids ripping open their cardboard boxes when they wanted to play their games and remembered that I still had a few of these plastic card boxes left - they are perfect for storing small standard decks of cards and come in a pack of 12.
Kids’ Card Games
These are some of our favorite card games for kids! Geared towards ages 4 and up, but even my 2 year old loves the “Search and Match” game and enjoys matching up the different candies and desserts. Only $5 for four games. We have both sets of these classic card games for kids.
Otterbox Phone Case with Flush Grip
My last phone case was starting to crack, so I was on the search for a new one and came across this Otterbox that has a built-in flush grip that is easy to pull out and hold, but then sits flush in the phone case so that you can still use all of your regular Magsafe accessories and chargers.
Wood Charcuterie Board with Lid
I bought this wooden charcuterie board when it was on sale on Amazon and love that it comes with a lockable plastic lid - perfect for travel! I recently created a fall caramel apple board - it was incredibly delicious! Sliced apples, soft caramel dip, chocolate/peanut butter & lots of fun toppings.
32 oz Water Bottle
This large stainless steel water bottle is the perfect size for our family of 4 to enjoy during a short outing to a playground. Lots of colors available.
Crochet Pocket Toddler Pullover
I couldn’t resist this adorable crochet-pocket pullover for my daughter this fall - this is one of my favorite clothing brands for some statement pieces for my kids.
Kids’ Art Frames
These art frames are perfect for displaying your kids’ artwork and craft projects. They hold up to 100 pieces of artwork and you can keep one on display at the front of the frame. Dozens of frame colors and styles available.
Quarter Zip Cropped Sweatshirt
This sweatshirt is SO good. It’s thick, but not too heavy. It’s slightly cropped, which is perfect with leggings. It is super soft and feels like a cloud. Comes in over 20 colors & when I got it, it was on sale and had a coupon to clip that got the price under $20! I’m wearing a large - I suggest ordering your true size, unless you want really oversized (then go a size up).
Fall Pumpkin Door Wreath
Putting my fall wreath on the door made this month's seasonal transition feel more real! My fall wreath is mostly out-of-stock, but I’ve linked a bunch of other similar styles that I think are just as beautiful.
Dog Seat Belt
We’ve been giving our puppy a little more free reign for car rides (instead of being in a crate in the back of our minivan), and this little dog seat belt buckles right into our seat and keeps her safely inside of our car - she can still move around fairly easily and of course we have to keep an eye on her that she doesn’t try to move off the seat that she is buckled into, but it’s been a great peace of mind for me as the driver. Comes in several fun colors & only $6.
One-Pocket Fanny Pack for Festivals
When we visited a music festival at the end of the month, one of the requirements was clear bags (under a certain size of course), or a fanny pack with only one pocket (do you know how hard it is to find a crossbody belt bag that only has one main pocket?!). My Parker Baby Co. belt bag has one main compartment, but then has lots of interior pockets to keep everything organized. There is also one other exterior zipper pocket at the back that is small and has a few additional organizational pockets, which was perfect for keeping my money and house key - anything that was slim.
Waterproof Beach Blanket w/ Carry Strap
Since we couldn’t take a backpack with us to the festival, it was important that I found a waterproof picnic blanket that had a carry-strap so that we could still be hands-free at the festival if we wanted to be. This blanket rolled up small and included the crossbody carry strap and it was only $15.
Large Refillable Water Bottle
We were allowed to take in an empty refillable water bottle, which was a must-have item for the weekend! The festival did a great job of providing lots of “hydration stations” with refreshing drinking water that we could make use of anytime we needed more water.
Portable MagSafe Phone Charger
I was glad that I took this magnetic phone charger - it was slim enough to keep in my fanny pack for the weekend and I didn’t need to worry about any charging cables.
Paracord 2-Sided Carabiner Clips
We used one of these double-sided carabiner clips to attach our water bottle to the waterproof blanket so that we could be hands free when walking around the festival - it was super useful!
