Read MoreAugust was not an overly exciting month for us - I had surgery at the end of July and was required to be off my foot for nearly 4 weeks - almost the entirety of August, stuck at home or only short trips since I couldn’t walk a lot. But the end of August, when I was able to start walking around again, we visited the Baltimore Orioles for a day game, and the kids ended the month with some sickness - not fun!

We’ve been enjoying the warmer weather and spending time in our backyard, our front porch, and walks around the blocks near our house.
